Overview
Amboseli National Park
Amboseli lies immediately north-west of Mount Kilimanjaro, on the border with Tanzania. The Park covers 392 square km, and forms part of the much larger 3,000 square km Amboseli ecosystem.
Large concentrations of wildlife occur here in the dry season, making Amboseli a popular tourist destination. It is surrounded by six communally owned group ranches.
The National Park embodies five main wildlife habitats (open plains, acacia woodland, rocky thorn bush country, swamps and marshland) and covers part of a Pleistocene lake basin, now dry.

Day 1
NAIROBI TO MASAI MARA
We depart Nairobi by Safari bus for your 7 Days Masai Mara Lake Nakuru Amboseli Lodge, south to the Masai Mara National Park. A picnic will be served on the way followed by a game drive are due to arrive at the lodge or the camp in the late afternoon or early evening dinner will be served at the lodge or at the camp and you will be able to rest overnight in our modern two persons tents or your luxury lodge in Masai Mara.

Day 2
MASAI MARA
We will be able to take an early morning and late afternoon game drive to explore this famous and unique park. As usual, meals will be served at the camp or Masai Mara lodge.

Day 3
MASAI MARA
A morning game drive will be available followed in the afternoon by an optional nature walk. All meals will be provided at the camp or Masai mara lodge.

Day 4
MASAI MARA TO NAKURU
A pre-breakfast game drive will be available with breakfast back at the camp or lodge before our safari bus takes us to Nakuru. On the way a picnic lunch will be served. Lake Nakuru is renowned for it's bird life not forgetting its most famous flamingoes. In addition small game is in profuse supply. For campers overnight will be spent at a simple but clean hotel with hot showers. The hotel will also serve dinner. Lodge clients will dine and sleep at Lake Nakuru Lodge / Sarova Lion Hill Lodge

Day 5
NAKURU VIA NAIROBI TO AMBOSELI
Following a pre-breakfast game drive we will leave the hotel for Nairobi and continue to Amboseli. Lunch will be served in Nairobi. Once in the Amboseli National Park we will be able to take a game drive on the way to our camp site or lodge. Dinner will be served at the camp or Amboseli lodge.

Day 6
AMBOSELI
The early morning pre-breakfast game drive is a must both for quality of viewing and for atmosphere of the wilds of Africa. We will return to our Camp or Lodge for breakfast to be followed by a mid-morning drive. Lunch will be served back at the camp or lodge.
The evening game drive will complete this very full day and allow our clients to have seen and experienced the wilds of Africa in its natural state. Dinner will be served at the Camp or Amboseli Lodge.

Day 7
AMBOSELI / NAIROBI

The 7 Days Masai Mara Lake Nakuru Amboseli Lodge costs $1,554 per person. That price includes all park and conservancy entry fees, accommodation on the stated board basis, a licensed driver-guide, the 4x4 safari vehicle and fuel, and all game drives listed in the itinerary. International flights, visas, insurance, tips and personal items are not included.

How many people will be in my safari vehicle?
Six at most, and that is a hard cap. Our Land Cruisers seat seven, so there is always a spare seat and every guest has a window and unobstructed access to the pop-up roof hatch. A fully private vehicle is available on any itinerary for a supplement.
When is the best time to do this Kenya Safari trip?
July to October is peak season, with the Mara River crossings and the best trekking weather, and it carries the highest rates. March to May is the long rains: green landscapes, newborn game, very few vehicles and the lowest prices of the year. January to February is dry, hot and excellent for general game viewing. There is no bad month, only months that suit different things.
