Day 1
Nairobi to Lake Nakuru National Park
Depart from Nairobi for the 3 Days Lake Nakuru National Park Safari Tour, arriving in time for lunch at your lodge. After lunch will enjoy an evening game drive to see the huge numbers of flamingo which are concentrated along the lake shore. In addition to the bird life for which Nakuru is so well known there are many different wildlife species in the park including lion, leopard, Black rhino, White rhino, buffalo, Rothschild's giraffe, zebra, impala and waterbuck. Overnight at the Sarova Lion Hill Lodge or Lake Nakuru Lodge.

Day 2
Explore Lake Nakuru National Park
An early morning game drive before breakfast to try to find leopard which are frequently sighted in Lake Nakuru Park and return to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast you will take a further drive to seek out the 2 species of rhino found in the park, returning before lunch. The afternoon is at leisure, relaxing by the lodge swimming pool before an evening game drive in the park. Overnight at the Sarova Lion Hill Lodge or Lake Nakuru Lodge

Six at most, and that is a hard cap. Our Land Cruisers seat seven, so there is always a spare seat and every guest has a window and unobstructed access to the pop-up roof hatch. A fully private vehicle is available on any itinerary for a supplement.
When is the best time to do this Kenya Safari trip?
July to October is peak season, with the Mara River crossings and the best trekking weather, and it carries the highest rates. March to May is the long rains: green landscapes, newborn game, very few vehicles and the lowest prices of the year. January to February is dry, hot and excellent for general game viewing. There is no bad month, only months that suit different things.
